On July 14, 2025, we were featured on the “Sugo-Waza Gets!” segment of Kansai TV’s Kansai Joho Net ten.!
They covered our daily work at Genroku Tatami and our popular tatami workshop.
It was a live broadcast, so I was quite nervous the whole time—but thanks to the lovely smile of announcer Miho Sawaguchi and the kind, attentive staff, everything went smoothly☺️✨

Tatami has been a familiar presence in Japanese homes for centuries, but many people don’t know much about it. Although the number of tatami rooms is declining year by year, I hope this segment helps more people discover the charm of tatami and reappreciate its cultural value.
Our tatami workshop offers an educational and hands-on experience that people of all ages—from kids to adults—can enjoy. It’s perfect for summer vacation projects too!
